  • When you get a free plugin, join our list or sign up for a beta, we keep your email address and what you asked for.
  • We only send you news, updates and offers if you ticked "Count me in" or signed up for our list. Getting a plugin alone never puts you on it.
  • Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off.
  • We never sell or rent your details.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you type it into a form on this website.
  • What it was for: which plugin, list or beta, which page, and the date and time.
  • Your choice on the "Count me in" box, with the exact wording you saw, so we can show what you agreed to.
  • Basic technical data that every website receives, such as your IP address, kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

These pages set no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To give you what you asked for: the plugin, a one-time "it's out" email for a plugin you asked to hear about, or your beta access.
  • With your consent: news, free plugins and tools, tips, offers and updates from Sound Pro Academy, only if you ticked the box or signed up for our list. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the website safe and working, which is our legitimate interest.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run this website for us, each of which may use the data only to provide that service:

  • Supabase, which hosts our database.
  • Resend, which sends our emails.
  • Netlify, which hosts this website.
  • GitHub, which delivers the plugin downloads and sees your IP address while it does.
  • jsDelivr and Google Fonts, which deliver audio samples and typefaces and see your IP address while they do.

If you join our Discord or our community on Skool, those services have their own privacy policies.

International transfers

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards they offer for such transfers, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep only a record that you did, so we never email you again by mistake.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Write to a.administration@soundproacademy.com and we reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the EU you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
